her story, in our words

Rose is our family dog, rescued in 2013. She came from a backyard breeder in New England who had planned to hand her off to local dog fighters. She was small and timid, exactly the kind of dog that gets used as a bait dog for others to train on. The moment we found out, we got in the car and drove straight there to bring her home.

Thirteen years later, Rose is still with us, and she's brought more love into this family than we ever could have imagined. She's the reason we're called The Healing Rose, because healing is exactly what she's spent her whole life doing for the people around her.
